DINOSAURS!!!!

If I haven't said this before I'll say it now. JAXEN LOVES DINOSUARS!!!!! This weekend there was a dinosaur expo we went to here are some pictures.

Graduation!

Today I graduated from UVU with a One Year Certificate in Early Childhood Education
! It was a early ceremony so only a few people were expected to come. I had a get together later on in the day so everyone could come out and celebrate. This is also when I made a public announcement that we were expecting our second child. I made Jaxen a shirt that said " only child expiring 2013" well only a few people got what it meant so we had to explain it to most everyone. It was a really good day! Rob gave me a new laptop so I have no excuse to not keep up on my blog now :) I may just have to add pictures later I haven't put much on the computer yet, just some stuff from today.

Jaxen's BIG news

So today Jaxen learned he is going to be a BIG BROTHER!!!! He was excited. I wish I would have had a camera on him when I told him. His face lit up so big and he gave me the biggest hug and said thank you mom! I told him this as we were about to walk into the Dr. office. My mom and sister had met us there, when he saw them he yelled "MY MOM HAS A BABY IN HER TUMMY!!!" As we waited to go back into the exam room my mom asked him what kind of baby mommy had in her tummy, he came over and asked me what it was. I told him we didn't know yet. He slowly walked back to my mom and said "we don't know what the baby is Mima." My mom then asked him what kind of baby he wanted it to be, with another very big smile on his face he said " a baby girl, I want a baby sister!" :) this made me smile. When I was called back to the exam room Jaxen and my mom came with me. As we sat there waiting Jaxen told us he needed to go to the bathroom, so my mom took him for me. When he came back into the room he had a small cup of water, he brought it over to me and said "Mom I got the baby some water." How cute was this, he is already looking out for the baby. He was so sweet as he tried to feed me the water. As soon as I took a drink he asked my if the baby got it and if the baby liked it. When the Dr. came in he did a small little ultrasound and showed Jaxen the baby's home. I don't think I have ever seen that kid so excited about something that wasn't a DINOSAUR!! He is going to be an AWESOME big brother! :)
