Thankful

I'm so thankful for so very much!

I'm thankful that my kids are here and happy (and almost healthy!) we have been doing a few room air trials with Morgan and we are doing okay. She is being able to go longer without it but in the end she still needs it. We also took a drive down to go see my dad and Grandma Patti. Sarah and I rented a big suburban and took the kids down and back in one day!

Going home!!!!!!!!

We get to go home today!!! Jaxen will get to finally meet his little sister, he is so excited!!! We are taking her home on oxygen... this is nothing new to us thanks to sweet little Jaxen needing to go home with it to. Rob and I decided that Morgan thinks she needs to out do Jaxen in every way. She was 1oz bigger then him, Jaxen went home at 9 days old she is going home at 13 days old. He needed the oxygen and so she thinks she does too.

 

Here is a picture of Rob and I scrubbing in. Every time we went to the NICU we had to do a 5 minute scrub in, up to the elbows.

Morgan was put back on oxygen today. They are setting us up with home health so we can take her home with the oxygen. We will be rooming in at the hospital on Tuesday so we can take her home on Wednesday.

So today Morgan came off the c-pap. Now she is just on the nasal cannula. She is on 21% witch is room air but she needs the high flow. She is so beautiful, and looks just like her big brother.

Morgan Scotty Christiansen

Morgan Scotty Christiansen was born at 4:04pm. She is 8lbs even and 19in long. I was 37 weeks and 4 days. She is in the NICU needing help with breathing.... She just has to follow in her brothers foot steps.

 

Here I am having my C-section. The anesthesiologist must have thought I was cold or something.

Morgan had a true knot in her cord... Dr. said it is really rear and very scary. We are very happy we had a C-section because it could have been very bad if we tried the other way. If I would have been in labor when my water broke it could have pulled the knot even tighter... and cut off the flow of blood and oxygen to her brain... meaning we would have been rushed into an emergency C-section and could have lost he.

Here I am I got to see her for the first time when she was 6 1/2 hours old.

So with having the blood pressure problems I have been having my Dr and the perinatologest  decided today is the day! Baby is coming!

All ready for my C-section. My dad is the one going back with me. Cant wait to meet this little girl!!!!!!!!

Las Vegas

We went to Las Vegas with Grandpa and Grandpa Scott. We all rented a house and spent a week there, It was amazing.

 

One day we went to the Coke store and we had the cola from around the world and 8 different flavored floats.

 

The floats... everyone liked these.

Coke from around the world now this is so fun. If you have never gone and done this you should!!!

At the house we rented it had a pool! Thunder loved all the outside time he got! It was so nice to just go and relax!

We had such a fun on our vacation with Robs dad and Scott... I don't think this was the last trip we take with them!!!
